About the Author Rachel Barth

Rachel Barth is a freelance writer and filmmaker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. When not living from suitcases, she’s home in San Francisco, spending time at her local coffice, and tasting bites and brews about town. Rachel’s work can be found on CNN, VICE News, Draft Magazine and more. A graduate of UC Berkeley, and a fellow with the International Center for Journalists, her travel writing has led her on story-searches around the globe, reporting from Moscow, Berlin, Ireland, Peru, and even South Florida. In addition to writing and producing, Rachel also performs standup comedy, with an emphasis in blushing. She loves her dog Bob, as well as most Bobs around the world.
