This GSM blend nearly reaches 16% alcohol, which starts to get dangerously close to Port and other fortified wines in terms of alcohol by volume. That said, I think it was a pretty tasty, classic blend. Grenache, syrah and mourvèdre in about these proportions has proven magical in Australia and it shows well here in Temecula too.
Additional Publisher’s Note: The grenache here adds that much sought-after candied fruit, raspberry, and cinnamon spice. I also noted Ruby Red grapefruit flavors. Enjoy the long tingly finish.
