Now an award-winning company, Mirabeau en Provence was founded in 2009 by Stephen and Jeany Cronk. After selling their home in southeast London, the British expats moved to the small village of Cotignac in the famed rosé-making region of southern France. Despite being unfamiliar with the French language, they were able to translate their passion for wine into a successful business venture that’s currently available in over 50 markets. But the couple’s real passion is helping to create a memorable experience for the families and friends who enjoy their rosés.
Pretty in pink, La Folie Rosé is the fourth and newest addition to the Mirabeau family. Conceived in Luberon, this sparking wine is made according to the Charmat Method, which is similar to Italian Prosecco. As dainty as it is delicate, this ballet-pink wine has an effervescent sparkle that will tickle your nose as well as your taste buds. Its soft, fresh scent of strawberries and raspberries holds hints of gooseberries and blackcurrants, while its mouth-filling mousse is an elegant blend of red berries and grapefruit, with hints of sassy spice and a lovely lingering finish.
