David is a journalist and broadcaster, with two decades of experience across
TV, radio and print media and a life-long love of wine and spirits.

A former editor of BBC Breakfast – the UK’s number one TV morning show –
and Channel 5 News – Britain’s most innovative news programme – David
launched his own site vinosaurus.co.uk, with the simple mantra ‘things to try
and why’, aiming to explain, and enthuse about, different wine varieties and
styles – and tell some of the compelling stories behind the labels.

David is massively enthusiastic about England’s emerging sparking wine
scene, and loves craft gins and speciality ales too. He travels the world,
always ensuring he tries the local drink styles and trends, wherever he is!

As well as Drink Me, and Vinosaurus, David also writes for The Buyer and
has regular slots on BBC radio, broadcasting about wine and spirits. He also
judges for wine competitions and hosts premium tastings and industry events.
