Slushies and food trucks, food trucks and slushies; no two words are so totally American, so patriotic in harmony. Kelvin Slush Co. started as a food truck selling complimentary, organic slushies on the streets of Brooklyn. 2010, aka the unofficial beginning of the food truck dynasty in America, brought eager customers and all sorts of slushie-enthusiasts to company creators, Alex and Zack. However, after customers started bringing flasks to spike their slushies, the former lawyers decided to re-market their signature slushies. They began collaborating with bars and restaurants to serve their premium, no-longer-virgin, cocktails in all their frozen glory.
In June, Kelvin added a new flavor to its inventive, award-winning lineup: Frosé. Much like the six other flavors in the collection, the Frosé is certified USDA organic, non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher and Gluten-Free (more contemporary American features)! After taking a year to perfect its newest bestseller, Kelvin discovered the perfect recipe: combine 1 bottle Kelvin Frosé mix, 4 bottles Rosé wine, 0.5 Liters of Vodka (or other white spirit) and 1.5 gallons of water in a blender or a slush machine, if accessible. As their name suggests Kelvin knows that Rosé, the quintessential summer cocktail, is a drink best served cold.
