A deep hue of dark ruby with notes of dark plum and violet hitting the nose from the outset. This is a sensationally bold and complex wine that shows clear aging potential and unmistakeable character. There’s a slight white pepper with fragile herbal elements, almost a red pepper and menthol comes into play.
A heavy concentration of ripe red meadow fruits with a red and black plum coming to the forefront, accompanied by red cherry. The tannins are beautiful, silky and smooth as they roll across the tongue leaving a wonderful hint of pepper and spice on the finish. Very fresh, very lively with a superb finish.”
