Spell Estate founders, Bill and Tiki Spell, are committed to delivering the highest expression of Pinot Noir with each bottle capturing the nuances of each individual vineyard they partner with. One grower is Devoto Gardens & Orchards. The family farm grows over 50 varieties of apples, specialty cut flowers, and Pinot Noir grapes. Located in Sonoma County’s wine region in the Green Valley area of the Russian River Valley appellation, this area has the perfect microclimate for Pinot Noir. The fruits from the Devoto farm are used in Spell’s Nichole’s Blend Pinot Noir.
Nichole’s Blend Pinot Noir is vivid ruby in color. The nose offers subtle aromas of citrus, black cherry, ripe raspberry, toasted oats, sandalwood, and dried herbs. A burst of fruit and cola flavors are balanced with a hint of salinity coalesce that leaves a long, sultry finish. The wine is ready to be enjoyed immediately, but Nichole’s Blend Pinot Noir promises to be even more gratifying for those willing to cellar a bottle for another 5 to 7 years.
