The fifth permanent addition to the Redbreast range of whiskeys, Redbreast Lustau Edition is a new interpretation of the brand’s character with a distinctive. Born out of a longstanding relationship between the Midleton Distillery, County Cork and the main sherry house Bodegas Lustau, it demonstrated the innovative and diverse Irish whiskey offerings. Matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks and then finished in hand selected, first-filled sherry butts seasoned with Oloroso sherry from Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, Spain, this whiskey is crafted to exacting standers of Midleton’s Head Blender Billy Leighton. Their commitment to excellence in craftsmanship has created a delectable that is at 46% ABV and without chill-filtration.

The combination of the nose of prunes, dates and figs with licorice, marzipan, toasted oak and spices and the palate of creamy pot still with Redbreast spices with a clean balance of the rich sherry finish and fresh Spanish oak, makes this spirit the ultimate sherry whiskey. It was made available in the United States October 1st 2016. So #RedbreastLustau on and get your move on to gain possession of the “new Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey that champions the iconic sherry influence of the Redbreast range”.
