Lets face it, we all have those bottles hidden in the back of our pantry. You know, the ones that have been collecting dust since your last holiday party and that you have no idea what to do with, but just cant bring yourself to drink them or throw them out. The good news is that there are plenty of household ingredients that you can use to combine them with for some tasty drinks that will make you feel as accomplished as your neighborhood hipster bartender. Heres a quick rundown of easy, simple cocktails you can make without having to change out of your pajamas and go to the grocery store. Assuming, that is, that you usually change out of pajama pants to leave the house.

Over the course of the next week we’ll be showcasing 5 of these whimsical wonders, kicking off today with none other than the Rosemary Sour.

The Rosemary Sour

2 oz Bulleit Bourbon
5 oz lemon juice
Apple cider (sparkling)
Sprig of rosemary

Build in a rocks glass over ice with bourbon and lemon juice. Fill the remainder of the glass with apple cider. Slap a sprig of rosemary (to release the oils) and use it as a stirring stick

This easy-to-make concoction uses fresh herbs that combine to make a crisp, refreshing cocktail that will leave the smell of holiday spirit lingering in your nose and remind you of grandmas kisses. If your grandma’s kisses have any resemblance to a great rosemary sour, that it.
