The Mosel region of Germany is well established as wine country. Riesling grapes, used in a variety of white wines, hail mostly from Mosel It might seem odd that a gin could come from the region, but that’s exactly what happened when two traditional producers put their heads together. They both wanted a gin that highlighted the strengths of their hometown and Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin was the result.

The gin uses the highest-grade late harvest grapes to infuse the gin with Riesling, creating a gin tempered by semi-sweet wine. Along with 30 handpicked organic botanicals, this Ferdinand’s Saar Dry Gin has a slightly sweet taste with hints of black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon. A modern style gin that packs in plenty of flavor, there’s something to look forward to in every sip.
