Celebrate 200 years of malty magic in the United States. Guinness has teamed up with the 5-star Merrion Hotel and historic Ashford Castle, two of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels, to commemorate 200 years of Guinness exporting its bold brews to the U.S. Guests will begin their excursion at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin where they will stay for two nights. While here, guests will enjoy afternoon tea, a trip to the Guinness Storehouse, a full body massage for two, and a three course dinner for two. During the subsequent two nights, guests will receive a historic stay in Ashford Castle which was built in 1228 on the Mayo-Galway border and established as a first-class hotel in 1939. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with Martin Gibbons, a staff member whose ancestors worked in the castle while the Guinness family lived there. The total cost of the package is $4,641, including travel between hotels, and is valid from August 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018.
