Bartesian co-founders Bryan Fedorak and Jason Neevel may have been leaning over their Keurig after a long night of drinking when they thought of this idea.
Yes. You’re looking at the Keurig of cocktails, honey.
And these guys couldn’t have been hungover. This cocktail making machine is genius, and they have over $115,000 in Kickstarter funding to prove it.
This cocktail machine will work much like the Keurig coffee maker that many of us have come to love. Just as you keep the water reservoir in a Keurig filled, all you have to do is keep the Bartesian’s reservoirs filled with your favorite top shelf spirit brands, and then add their cocktail capsules. It’s that easy.
A couple of perks of the Bartesian include the ability to set the spirit strength of your drink—not that we need more than one “strong” setting—but, hey, we appreciate the options. And it tells you the traditional type of glass that you should serve the drink in, so you can look like a cocktail aficionado.
The only downsides are that some of the cocktail capsules they’re advertising currently, like Sex on the Beach and Cosmopolitan, really don’t appeal to me or many classic cocktail lovers, but I suspect they’ll branch out to more classics too.
If you’ve ever wanted the cocktail at the press of a button, then go ahead and pre-order the Bartesian. This baby is the next big thing.
