KWV is a large producer of wines, fortified wines, brandies, and other alcoholic beverages located in the Paarl region of South Africa. The Mediterranean type climate and diverse soils of the area create a perfect environment for quality grape production.They are known to make some of the greatest fortified wines.
By using two of the greatest grapes from the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal, they give life to their KWV Classic Collection Cape Tawny. Extended wood maturation resulted in beautiful amber colored wine known as KWV Classic Collection Cape Tawny Dessert Wine. Filled with sweet, date notes, apricot notes, orange zest, caramel, and an almond nose. This wonderful wine explodes with flavors of fruit, toffee, and a sweet ending. Serve chilled before or after a meal.
