The Chloe Wine Collection has released the newest addition to its growing portfolio: a 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon. Much like the other premium varietals showcased, the Sauvignon is sourced from preeminent and prized California vineyards, as its bold and robust flavor emerges from the Shaly loam soil in Monterey County. And so, the soon-to-be-sought-after wine is true to Chloe and its eponymous origins—in ancient times Chloe signified “blooming.” In essence, you might venture to call the Sauvignon, “a wine in bloom.” Ultimately it is an exemplary model of how Winemaker, Georgetta Dane, continues her legacy of imbuing each wine, from the Sauvignon to the Sonoma County Chardonnay to the Central Coast Rosé, or the Prosecco D.O.C, with such promise.
The Sauvignon triumphs in presentation. The red wine is bottled elegantly with the signature Chloe bow sealed onto the label. After aging for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, it emerges with a balanced, full-bodied taste. Marrying velvety flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and a touch of spice, the latest addition is now available for purchase nationwide. Sophisticated and affordable, Chloe’s Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal as winter lingers and we wait for spring to bloom!
