Passionate wine consumers turned vintners, Brian Mast and Jennifer Waits combined forces and interests to found Waits-Mast Family Cellars. In 2005, they had successfully crafted their first barrel of Pinot Noir. Both Mast and Waits were pleased enough with the wine to continue the following year. Their one-barrel production turned into a small operation with a focus on commercial branding that captured their switch from wine geeks to winemakers.
