It’s National Cognac Day! Let’s celebrate with D’Usse and these five amazing cocktails created for you to try at home. There’s something here for everyone, so no excuses! Put down that beer, wine, whatever…and get your Cognac on? N’est pas?

D’USSE FLEUR DE VIE

Ingredients:

  • 1 750ml Bottle- D’USSE Cognac
  • 20 oz- St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 12 oz- Simple Syrup
  • 20 oz- Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Bottle- Martini & Rossi Prosecco
  • Vessel: Large Punch Bowl

Glassware: Stemless Wine

Garnish: Lemon Wheels & Edible Flowers

Method: Add all ingredients into a punch bowl.  Add Ice. Stir until well mixed. Add lemon slices and edible flowers.

THE COCO

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz- D’USSE Cognac
  • 2 oz- Coconut Water
  • ½ oz- Lime Juice
  • ½ oz- Agave Nectar
  • Lime Wedge

Glassware: Highball

Garnish: Lime Wheel

Method: Add D’USSE, Coconut, Lime and Agave into a shaker with ice. Squeeze Lime Wedge into shaker.  Shake and pour into a Rocks glass. Garnish with a Lime Wheel.

D’USSE FRENCH MOJITO

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz- D’USSE Cognac
  • 1oz- Monin Ginger Syrup
  • 1 oz-  Fresh Lime Juice
  • 10- Mint Leaves
  • Club Soda

Glassware: High Ball

Garnish: Lime Wedge & Mint Sprig

Method: Add D’USSE, Ginger Syrup and Lime Juice into shaker with ice.  Shake and pour into a High ball glass. Top with Soda. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig top.

THE NEW FASHIONED

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz- D’USSE Cognac
  • .75 oz- Simple Syrup
  • 4 Dashes- Angostura Bitters
  • Glassware: Old Fashioned

Garnish: Orange Peel

Garnish: Brandied Cherry

MethodAdd all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.  Stir until cold. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass with a large format ice cube.  Twist orange peel over the cocktail to release the oils. Garnish with the Orange Peel and a brandied Cherry.

SIDECAR

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz- D’USSE Cognac
  • 1 oz- Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 oz- Fresh Lemon Juice

Glassware: Coup

Garnish: Lemon Peel

Garnish: Sugar Rim

Method: Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.  Rim a chilled coup glass with sugar. Shake and strain.  Garnish with a lemon peel.

D’USSE & LEMONADE

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz- D’USSE Cognac
  • 4 oz- Lemonade

Glassware: Highball

Garnish: Lemon Wheel

MethodAdd D’USSE and lemonade into an ice filled Highball glass.  Garnish with a lemon wheel.
