Located in the heart of the Monterey Bay Peninsula, right off the historic Cannery Row, stands a little cottage that serves some of the area’s best local wines. Not far off the beaten path you can find a great selection of new world Spanish wines made by some of the best local viticulturists. A lot of love and passion goes into Josh’s bottling, and he does a stand up job. Pierce Wine offers numerous selections of fruit forward, robust, yet elegant wines for any palate. Boasting a quaint tasting room and fun outdoor patio, Pierce’s tasting room has everything going on, from live bands on the weekends to an extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff. Events range from the local hipster band to a fun selection of jazz and slow rock. It makes for an intimate date spot as well as a perfect location for a friend gathering. So take a trip from one bay to another and don’t pass up this hip little diamond in the rough — it’s highly recommended among the locals.
