Gordan and MacPhail have released a one-of-a-kind 1949, 72 year-old single malt scotch whisky from Milton Distillery. Milton distillery is no longer under that name, instead it is now called Strathisla, making this single malt the last to ever be released with the Milton Distillery label. Matured in casks from the 1940’s at Milton Distillery, this single malt is also the oldest to be released with the Milton Distillery label. Tasting notes of the historic Single malt include fruity flavors of Seville oranges, lemon zest, pear and baked apple. Highlights of sweet vanilla, nutmeg, festive spice, toffee, and smoke are also present in this unique single malt. This rare whisky has an ABV of 46.6 % with only 180 bottles available worldwide.
