‘Brioso’ is an incredibly well balanced and elegant Bordeaux blend from Mendoza, Argentina. A treat for all occasions – the best way I can describe this unctuous beauty!
Pungent aromas of plum, damson, vanilla and sweet spice dominate the perfectly perfumed nose. The palate is a more than worthy companion for the ‘knockout’ nose, with hugely intense flavours of blackcurrant, damson and liquorice initially, before vanilla, milk chocolate and clove round off a sublimely lengthy finish.
Full bodied, elegant, bone dry, packed with flavour and a distinctly pronounced intensity. A bold acidity keeps everything in check, and boisterous, chewy tannins help tie everything together beautifully.
An incredibly well balanced and moreish wine, even with a rather robust and warming alcohol presence. A sublime wine drinking experience and great match for pizza with strong cheese.
Enjoy!
