Getting into the wine industry means dedicating yourself to an art that will be passed on from generation to generation, exactly in the way that Bacigalupi Vineyards has been for over 60 years. On the land of 121 acres on Westside Road, the original owners of the vineyard – Charles and Helen Bacigalupi – planted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and with the help of the 1976 wine tasting in Paris, their name quickly got recognition. The vineyard now consists of 125 acres of premium grapes and the family has source fruit to some of Sonoma and Napa’s most well known brands.

Their dedication to the industry goes into the utilizing the best vineyard practices such as composing all pomace, hand tending to vineyards and using recycled material. Now three generations in and with winemaker Ashley Hertzberg leading the winemaking endeavor the family showcases wine under their own label at their tasting room just outside of Healdsburg with the hopes of continuing their legacy of premium grape growing and winemaking for many years to come.
