With a combination of Asian spice, Mediterranean citrus, and native Australian botanicals, Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is not your average London Dry Gin. The distillers at Four Pillars, a small distillery in the Yarra Valley of Australia, are a recently established (2013) place with ambitions to up the gin ante in Australia. Not wanting to create another London Dry Gin but eyeing juniper, they added some unique touches to truly make their product stand a part from the rest.

To accompany the traditional juniper, Four Pillars includes ten trademark botanicals with the more exotic and unique touches being the Tasmanian Pepperberry and lemon myrtle, which blends well with the cinnamon, star anise, coriander, and whole oranges. The sweet of the oranges balances the sour of the lemon myrtle, warmth of the Tasmanian Pepperberry, and the spicy botanicals. The different Australian twist creates a perfect London Dry Gin for cocktails.
