This summer, inspired by the iconic Princess & The Pea fairytale, The Ampersand Hotel in London’s South Kensington will be surprising guests with prizes fit for royalty.
The hotel is already famous for its sumptuous sheets, plush pillows and magnificent beds but now the hotel is offering extra enchantment to guests who discover secret cards concealed beneath their pillows.
Once the card has been discovered, all guest need to do is call down to reception with their unique code for their reward to be revealed. Prizes range from a Garden Pea cocktail in Apero, complimentary afternoon tea in The Drawing Rooms, tickets to Diana: Her Fashion Story at Kensington Palace, or an overnight stay.

30ml Portobello gin
15ml Saint Germain
20ml pea purée
15ml Suze
15ml lemon juice
10ml lemon verbena & rose syrup
Shake with ice and double-strain. Serve with a pea pod garnish.
