When is the last time you got lost in your work? Not because of the stress or the amount, but because of your excitement and eagerness to work on it. Time and reality fade away as your immerse your mind in something that you actually want to do – instead of what someone else tells you to do. It’s like reading a good book. You’re excited to finish it, but lost when it’s over. That is how Brent Elliott felt while creating Elliott’s Select by Four Roses Bourbon.
Elliott assumed the post of master distiller in September 2015, putting his chemistry degree to use, and hand-picking his bourbon, and creation process, to bring us his masterpiece. Upon opening the bottle, you will catch the scent of peach and magnolia. Pour a glass and enjoy the fruit and spiced vanilla flavors caressing your tongue, only to leave behind a hint of apricot and honey for your mouth to savor. Mellow and bold all-in-one, much like the master distiller himself.
The 14-year-old bourbon was bottled and released in June, only existing as long as it lasts. Keep in mind when on your search, while bottles are still available coast to coast, they may not be available in every state.
