When a distiller uses the same method for over 75 years, you know they’ve found a pretty damn good technique. With peat-smoke that can only be found in this territory, here we have another delight from the Islay region. Barley is dried over a peat fire, giving way to a bold, smoky nose with hints of seaweed, fig and a dolce sweetness balanced out by a slight salty taste. As it glistens in the bottle before you, golden in color, you know you’ve made the right choice.

The taste brings together a very thick and rich fruity sweetness; full of malt, peat and sherry. The oak is extremely present allowing a stunning spicy finish of dates, figs, toasted vanilla and peat smoke.
