Price: $24
Sitting only 40 km southeast of the city of Bordeaux are the tranquil and glorious vineyards of Chateau La Rame. Golden yellow, bright and clear colors showcase through the glass. On the nose, elegant, fine and delicate, fruity, hazelnut, honey. On the palate, a supple attack, evolution on sweetness sustained by a touch of acidity.
Château Loupiac-Gaudiet LOUPIAC
Vintage: 2010
Blend: 80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc
Price: $24
After fermentation the wine remains “en cuve” for some months before being bottled. The château does not mature any of this wine in oak either, so the taste is very pure. This vintage delivers a beautiful gold color with notes of passion fruit, dry apricots and honey. The taste is a delicious combination of crispness and fresh fruit.
La Fleur D’Or 2010 Sauternes
Vintage: 2010
Blend: 100% Semillon
This sublime luscious Sauternes is a very characterful sweet wine. Warm, dry vintage conditions have given concentrated Sauternes, with rich peach and plum fruit accented by notes of honey, caramel and toast. The sweetness at the very start then gives way to a refreshing medium-dry finish.
