With only limited bottles (8000) made available, Angel Envy has released their Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky. Previous releases have sold out quickly in the past so act soon. The reason for the limited release is a result of the scarcity of the necessary barrels for the enhanced finishing process. The barrels are selectively chosen and output Angel Envy’s highest proof ever: 127.9. The aging method results in a remarkably complex and unfiltered spirit that should be enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to release the flavor nuances.
Cask Strength settle on the tongue with notes of pound cake, root beer, candy corn, honey, tart strawberries, blackberries, figs, and a slight finish of black pepper. The complex flavor mixture is matched with scents of caramel, vanilla, roasted almonds, orange citrus, and faint blueberry. Choose from one of two finished: port or rum. Each finish alters the palate, appearance, nose, and finish is slight yet distinctive ways. Choose the most appealing and savor every sip.
