Rochester, New York is known as “The Flower City” for its rich botanical heritage. This year in May during the annual Lilac Festival, Black Button Distilling is adding to the festivities by releasing nearly 4,000 bottles of their handcrafted, limited edition Lilac Gin.
Lilac Gin is made with fresh handpicked lilac petals and complimentary botanicals. Juniper notes mix with the floral overtones to create a clean, crisp gin that is perfect for creating refreshing cocktails. It’s such a success that Black Button is constantly begged to produce it year round, but the flower petals that make up the gin have to be picked at the peak of their bloom. So for now, cherish this special occasion and grab up a bottle of this gin they all disappear.
