This winter, people are not the only ones changing their looks; W.L. Weller Bourbon brand is receiving an upgrade too. This December, Weller Special Reserve, Weller Antique and Weller 12-Year-Old Bourbon Whiskey will all be poured out of a new bottle design that is taller, more sophisticated all the while holding onto the curves of the current packaging. Each will have its own colored face label with a beautiful, large cursive “W” while the name “Weller” will be enlarged to better catch the eye of the consumer. The back label will have the story of William Larue Weller who developed an original bourbon recipe with wheat, rather than rye in the mash bill and gave whiskey a whole new taste.
The Weller Bourbons have a terrifically smooth taste and the new design is a clear reflection of that. It shows pride of the Weller name, bearing “Weller” in a majestic gold color placed on the center of the bottle and the neck. The modified look is a promise of further growth of and commitment to the brand. Weller Special Reserve and Weller Antique should be available in the new packaging this December, as with the next release of Weller 12-Year-Old that’s scheduled for Spring 2017. So skip the eggnog this winter and grab a bottle of this exceptional whiskey in a beautiful keepsake package.
