Animal rights activists have been picking on foie gras producers for quite some time, and culinary geniuses took advantage to market foie-mageddon (if you want to know more about foie, learn a bit from our friend Anthony HERE). A state-wide ban on the fatted goose liver went into affect as the clock struck midnight. But before hand, revelers and foodies tried to stuff their mouths with any kind of foie they could find.
