If you think about it, it&#8217;s kind of incredible: 1 historic, massive WWII warship docked on the Bay, 7 artisan breweries from San Francisco, over 40 handcrafted beers, hundreds of attendees &#8211; it could have been a disaster! But the pleasantly muggy, warm weather and delicious brews made a fantastic pairing, and aside from some rowdy bell-ringing and sundry wannabe-sailor behavior, the mood was buoyant (there I go again) and the set-up was excellent. A live band played while the lagers, stouts and ales were generously poured by Beach Chalet, Thirsty Bear, Magnolia, Gordon Biersch, SF Brewing Co., Speakeasy and 21st Amendment.
