Drink Me is a lifestyle magazine created for the alcohol enthusiast. Developed to help readers navigate the art and cultures of the world of alcohol, Drink Me builds a community to share the diverse social and epicurean traditions of wine, beer and spirits. Published every two months, this pocket-sized, glossy, 64-page, full-color magazine is filled with articles about drinking culture that bring substance back to the bar. Drink Me presents lifestyle beyond the glass—exploring and celebrating potent potables and the drinking wells they’re enjoyed in.

Who Are We?
Daniel Yaffe, Editor & Publisher
Daniel Yaffe is a UC Berkeley graduate who has had a passion for good booze since his very first drink. In fact, he mixed up the idea for Drink Me after a long night of bartending and hasn’t looked back. When he’s not conceptualizing article ideas for the magazine or working as a partner at Open Content Media, Daniel can most likely be spotted sipping cocktails at industry events or playing racquetball with friends. The two, he’s learned, don’t mix well together.

Stephanie Henry, Online Editor
An editor by trade (and grammarian by near-OCD), Stephanie has worked at both international publishing houses and low-budget start-ups — one of which being her foray into the editorial and business sides of publishing at Phoenix Metropolitan, a magazine she helped launch in 2007. When not nose-to-monitor finishing a Master’s degree in web design + development, she can be found with some sort of whiskey concoction—preferably a well-made rattlesnake—at a slew of SF bars.

Samir Osman, Contributor
Samir Osman is a bartender, mixologist, consultant, teacher, writer, and photographer who came to San Francisco for vacation in the late ’90s and never looked back. He prefers a classic approach to both creating and consuming drinks, as well as writing about both.

Patrick Poelvoorde, Hedonist Barkeep
Originally hailing from various hitching posts throughout the Midwest, at 20 Patrick bounded westward and wound up in Phoenix where he cut his teeth pouring potables to sober college students, writing for various publications and painting his little heart out. He now finds himself in San Francisco, where his brain is slowly congealing back to normal(ish) state. Perhaps you will see him stroking down the street on his bike or inventing new drink recipes to dull the pain.

Sheridan Costa, Contributor
Sheridan is a sassy, redheaded Baltimore transplant who learned about the world of alcohol at an early age (her dad was a liquor distributor). Her passions now lie with photography and at least two of the following at all times: whiskey, great cocktails, dancing to the music, blowing the bank on photobooths and perfecting playlists for the city’s best jukeboxes.
