1) SummerTini at The Galleria

Join SF’s best chefs at SummerTini 2010 on Friday, June 4th at the Galleria. This annual culinary extravaganza features specialty hors d’oeuvres from 20 local restaurants, live jazz by the San Francisco Bourbon Kings, signature martinis, scotch bar, and enticing auction items, including the opportunity to dine with the SF Chronicle’s food critic, Michael Bauer. All proceeds from the evening benefit Episcopal Community Services’ culinary training program for homeless adults.

2) Dine About Town

It’s like you’ve dined and gone to Heaven!
Dine About Town San Francisco returns June 1st – 15th, and more than 100 participating chefs and restaurants will showcase their summer 2010 menus. The twice-yearly promotion provides a “culinary stimulus package” for both locals and visitors by offering a two-course lunch menu for $17.95 and/or a three-course dinner menu for $34.95.

3) Union Street Art Festival

In its 34th year, The Union Street Festival is one of San Francisco’s largest free annual events, featuring arts and crafts created with recycled and sustainable materials and eco-friendly exhibits.
The Festival showcases 150 arts & crafts booths, 25 gourmet food booths, outdoor beer gardens, two stages of live entertainment, bistro style cafes, and plenty of drunk Marina girls in tube tops bereft of dignity. It’s not be missed.

4) Crush Barrel Wine Market – Save $30 on Tickets

Enjoy a full-day of unlimited wine tasting on the beautiful waterfront.
Crush Barrel Wine Market features over 30 vineyards, specialty vendors, cheese makers, and live music by The Dreaded Truth. Tickets are normally $55 per person, but we’re selling them for $25 (a $30 savings!). Plus, we’re throwing in a $10 voucher towards your first wine purchase.

5) Belmont Stakes Wine Fest at Golden Gate Fields

Wine lovers will be hot to trot this Saturday.
Golden Gate Fields is hosting a fun day of live racing and wine tasting. Sample a wide variety of wines from the East Bay Vintner’s Alliance! For just $20 you will receive: a Golden Gate Fields signature wine glass, five wine tastings, food samplings, live music, and an art exhibit by the Point Richmond Art Collective. Jockey Russell Baze will be available to sign autographs for individuals that make donations to the Race Track Chaplaincy of America. Plus, watch and wager on the final leg of the Triple Crown – the Belmont Stakes!

6) World Cup Watching Party at Iluna Basque

Are you ready for some football (I mean “soccer’)?!
Head over to Iluna Basque to watch France play Mexico in the 2010 World Cup on Thursday, June 17th at 11 a.m. Chef Mattin will be providing a $15 buffet that includes food from both France (stew, croquettes and hor d’oeuvres) and Mexico (tacos, tostadas, chips & salsa).  Drinks from Mexico (Mexican beer and margaritas) and France (red and white wine) will be available for purchase.

7) Summer BBQ Benefit at Show Dogs

Join Show Dogs for a good old fashioned summer barbecue party.

9) COCHON 55 at the Fairmont Hotel

San Francisco chefs are going hog-wild this Sunday at the Fairmont Hotel.
Join five pigs, five chefs, and five winkemakers at Cochon 555, a world-tour celebration of all things pork. Each chef will prepare one 750-pound pig from head-to-toe to compete for the title: Prince or Princess of Pork. Guests can enjoy wine, competing pork dishes, and a pig breakdown demonstration by butcher Ryan Farr of 4505 Meats. Tickets are $125.

10) Free Charbay Cocktail Competition/Tasting at Rye

SF’s top bartenders will compete at Rye to make the best Charbay flavored vodka cocktail! Admission is free, and all guests can enjoy complimentary samples of the contestants’ drinks. 1st place prize is $150; 2nd place is $125; and 3rd place prize is $100. 11) Benefit Cabaret/Dessert Party with the Cast of “In the Heights”

Join the cast of the Tony Award winning show, “In The Heights” for a one-night-only benefit cabaret! There are also a limited number of tickets to the dessert party with the cast at the Hard Rock Cafe after the show. Tickets are $38 per person; and $25 more to attend the dessert party.
